The 3rd XV Manifesto

This what it takes to be a player for the 3rd XV:

• The team is everything and everything is the team
  
• The game only works if everyone is playing for everyone else not themselves
  
• Collective effort is much more rewarding than individual brilliance
  
• It also hides a multitude of crap skills and out of shape players
  
• No one is left behind
  
• We play anyone & I mean anyone
  
• If you turn up you get on, it's as simple as that
  
• We go out to have a full-on good time, every time
  
• It is better to have played & lost than not to have played at all as some English lit bod said in my "O" levels
  
• We like playing with a smile on our faces even if it is a smile of embarrassment for the dropped pass or skewed throw in
  
• We have an extended team
  
• We positively encourage wives, girlfriends, kids & dogs to come down and while away a cold and wet afternoon in December whils their better halves knock lumps out of the oppo outside
  
• We are Inclusive, it doesn't matter if you're returning from injury, in the twilight of your 1st team career or new to the club
• We enjoy taking in players and feeding up where possible whilst providing a place for those who want a more sedate & social game
  
• We are Social
  
• Our Curry evenings are legendary
