Welcome

Our club welcomes girls and boys of all ages and standards. We support rugby that is safe and fun for children and many of our coaches have given freely of their own time to acquire the qualifications necessary to teach the game.

Some of our coaches still play regularly and therefore keep the strong links between junior and senior rugby secure. Our club now has a history of children starting as young as U7 and progressing through to the senior 1st XV and beyond.

Grass roots rugby is the lifeblood of our club and we recognise and support this. If you don't know who to contact or are unsure of which team you child might be in please contact Anton White or David Hooker, as listed above.

The Youth Section U7s to Colts (U18's)

All teams have a manager and or at least one coach and are continually striving towards RFU qualifications.

Most teams play or train on Sunday mornings between 10am and 1pm and train on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings on the Club's floodlit pitch. Matches are played on all pitches at the club.

The Colts normally play on Sunday afternoon - see the fixture lists on this web site for times. Players are provided with G’s home shirts, shorts and socks for match games and are provided with food after each fixture.

Supporting G’s

You will regularly see players from the youth section on first team match days, the club is very keen to promote a close family atmosphere and offer rugby to all children, whatever their ability.

Minimum age is six years old (as at 1st Sept).

Fees (Includes insurance and all match fees)

Playing shirts provided for matches.

Parental Contribution

We encourage parents to join in and actively look for assistance during coaching sessions.
